Fibre
Organic cotton is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) from the organic fibre source to the dyes and fabric. GOTS is the leading standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria and is backed by independent third-party certification. Our cotton is grown and processed in Turkey.
Fabric
Our denim fabric is 100% cotton and has the typical traditional denim look. After spinning, half the yarns are yarn-dyed with indigo dye and half left undyed in ecru. The typical denim cloth is created by weaving the indigo-coloured yarn with undyed ecru in a 3/1 twill weave structure which makes the specific look of a denim cloth. Then the fabric is sewn into a garment and indigo dye is washed out to achieve the desired softness and worn look.
