Fibre
Our cotton is grown in Australia.
Fabric
Our lightweight pinwale corduroy is made from 100% cotton and is created by weaving extra sets of fibres into the base fabric to form fine, vertical piles. The result is a soft, versatile fabric with a distinctive texture and comfortable handle. Corduroy fabric has a long history: first created in ancient Egypt, then adapted by the British monarchy and re-discovered by 70’s bohemians, it remains one of the most loved natural autumn/winter fabrics. The styles are garment dyed which means applying colouring after the garment has been sewn. This allows us to dye only the amounts and colours we know our customers like.
Factory
We have been working with our partners based in China to develop this fabric all the way from the yarn to the finished product. We have been working with Cong and Sunny since 2014 and they have been specializing in linen textiles for generations. Their innovation and impeccable quality mean we can bring our ideas to life and develop special woven fabrics using all-natural fibres.
