Fibre
Our lambswool comes from sheep grazed in Australia and is perfect to knit traditional winter cardigans and sweaters. Lambswool comes from the first sheering of the lamb so it is softer and finer compared to normal wool.
Fabric
Our lambswool yarn is made in an innovative spinning mill in China run by a family in the third generation. The fibres are 'top' dyed before being spun into yarn. This process results in beautiful melange colours and a softer hand feel. Each panel is knitted to the shape of the garment which therefore creates less wastage. Panels and trims are attached using a hand-linking machine, resulting in a premium, high-quality garment.
Factory
The knits are produced in close collaboration with one of our longest standing suppliers, a small knitter based in Dongguan, China. We have enjoyed working with owner Robert and his dedicated team, Ceci and Carmen, for over 20 years. Their knowledge, experience and attention to detail is second to none. We are proud to have them as part of our team.
