The alpacas are responsibly farmed in the Peruvian highlands. Alpacas' impact is light on the land they graze which makes them one of the most environmentally friendly animals. Our wool fibres come from Argentina and Uruguay and are mulesing-free.

Our chunky half-and-half wool and alpaca yarn is ideally suited for knitted winter garments. This oversized yarn might look heavier weight but is actually very light and breathable whilst having enough air pockets to keep you warm. The garment has been made by carefully hand-knitting each panel and then linking them, resulting in a garment with almost no wastage and excellent quality.

This style has been hand-knitted as part of the Art Atlas Foundation programme to empower women in the highlands of Arequipa, Peru. The foundation provides training for women and offers them stable commercial work.
