Fibre
The alpacas are responsibly farmed in the Peruvian highlands. Alpacas' impact is light on the land they graze which makes them one of the most environmentally friendly animals. Our wool fibres come from Argentina and Uruguay and are mulesing-free.
To ensure the structural stability and durability of the yarn, a polyamide fibre is used. We aim to avoid synthetic fibres in our collections, but in this occasion it is to give the alpaca yarn structural stability and the best possible quality.
Our cotton is grown in Peru.

Fabric
Our cotton and alpaca blend knits create lovely warm and cosy winter jumpers and cardigans. One of our favourite yarns- alpaca blend works perfectly with organic cotton. The cotton gives the fabric structure and alpaca the warmth and softness. The fibres are 'top' dyed before being spun into yarn. This process results in beautiful melange colours and a softer hand feel. Each panel is knitted to the shape of the garment which therefore creates less wastage. Panels and trims are attached using a hand-linking machine, resulting in a premium, high-quality garment.

Factory
One of our newest knitwear suppliers is located in Peru. We chose to work with them because of their excellent skills, drawn from centuries of tradition using materials such as alpaca, cotton and wool, all of which are available locally.
