Journey through the untouched corners of Valletta, where we shot our Spring Summer 2016 collection and discover the utilitarian edge it brings.
Valletta, the capital of the small Mediterranean island nation of Malta is known for its Baroque character and aesthetic. Ornate architecture lines the city walls and brings to life the palaces, gardens and churches that are so integral to city life.
It was this artisanal charm that proved to be the perfect setting for our latest collection; where the fabrics are full of texture, the shapes relaxed and layered and the colours are muted and rustic.
Every street you turn onto and every doorway passed has a timeless story to tell, preserved within the city walls. It's this innate detail that works so beautifully as the backdrop to our designs. Most notably our embroidery and prints, all designed in-house at our Parsons Green HQ.
We journeyed from the city streets to the saltpans of Valletta where the coastal scenery perfectly complemented our series of feminine floral designs and fashionably cut denim.
Despite the relatively small expanse of the city, each turn brought new scenery and a new story to tell. The relaxed landscape of the city helped convey the effortlessly luxe and cool nature of our collection, with style and utility key to every piece designed and made.
